Vinnie has learned the joy of 'raspberries' on the belly. He laughed so hard tonight that he had the hiccups.

I don't know if anyone will believe me, but Vinnie's hair is growing. It really is! It is not growing UP like I thought it would. It is just growing forward.

I still can't tell what color it is. It is several different shades, but is yet to be as dark as Emily's.

Vinnie is soooo close to rolling over, but yet it feels so far away. Kristen has been working with him and really, really wants him to roll over. I figure that she is leaving for Washington DC tomorrow morning and will be gone the rest of the week, so if he is going to do it it will be now. If so, she'll never know and we'll just tell her that she witnessed the first.

I'm going to get a reputation ...

Vinnie has not been sleeping well, has a runny nose and has been pulling at his right ear so much that there are tiny, little cuts around it. So, I decided to take him in and have his ears checked ... well, the right one. Especially since everytime he woke last night he went from sleep to out-and-out screaming.

Nope - no ear infection. Ears look perfectly healthy.

"It's just a cold, crazy lady"

P.S. He weighed 16lbs 14ozs (fully clothed)

Poor little Vinnie! He is catching the cold that all of us have been passing around. Little peanut could hardly breath to eat tonight as he was so congested. His mood is still good though.

As a demonstration of how good of a baby Vinnie is - Vinnie was sitting on the couch last night and out of nowhere he just started screaming. Tony yelled for Brian to come get him and was all concerned, "What's wrong with him, Dad?". Brian explained that sometimes babies just cry. Tony said (of his 4 MONTH OLD brother), "But I've never heard him cry before".

And it really isn't an exaggeration. He fusses every now and again, but doesn't really ever cry. Okay, he did the other day when I dropped a fork on his head, but that seemed justified.

I guess he was just overtired last night as he was an angel today at Miley's baptism and continued the remainder of the day.

His newest thing is that he loves his feet. They don't make it to his mouth yet, but he likes to hold onto them.

Vinnie is fussy today and tonight. A fussy that we haven't really seen before. Not sure what is going on with him ... off night or coming down with a cold like Tony & Kristen? He is just not himself at all.

I decided to try cereal one more time and it he took it tonight! Without body shakes and faces! I wouldn't go as far as to say that he was excited about it, but ... baby steps!
