Today Brian was holding Vinnie while the baby very loudly filled his pants.
Emily looked at Brian and asked, "Do you want me to get Mommy?"

Today Vinnie went into my work and got to have a bunch of people ooh and ahh over him. It was a long day though as "stopping into Mommy's work" means going to 3 different branches. He was sooo good though. It didn't hurt that he was being held all day.

We have decided that Vinnie is going to be an outdoorsman. He has fussy time during the evening hours ... same as many babies. But he stops fussing if we just take him outside and side. He loves the breeze and it was fun watching him observe the leaves blowing.

I was pretty sure that Vinnie half-smiled at me yesterday, but Brian said it was just gas. But he did it TWICE today!

Vinnie headed to Zanesville today to visit the Great Grandmas. He was (of course) an angel and had a great time. He showed off his good behavior for both grandmas. Some pics are in the photo area.

Vinnie headed back to the zoo today. I think he likes the place. Although today was decidedly hotter than the last time he went. He still was a tropper though. We only stayed for 2 hours though as the zoo was closing early for a special event. As it turns out, that was a good thing as we were DONE.
We are now heading out to Grandma and Grandpa Donato's for dinner. Full day for a little guy!Comments:Add a comment:

Vinnie is becomming adept at spitting out the horrible tasting Zantac rather than swallowing it. Unfortunately, for him (and for us) this is causing his reflux to flare up today. Poor little thing is not a happy camper. We were going to go back to the zoo today, but Emily didn't want to go. I guess it worked out well as Vinnie would not have enjoyed the trip.

Vinnie went to see his first movie today at the movie theater. He was sooo good and Emily got to see Kung Fu Panda. I put Vinnie in the Moby carrier and he slept on me the entire movie and didn't make a peep.

Vinnie went to the doctor's today. He is up to 9 lbs 2 ozs, but has been diagnosed with reflux and is starting Zantac (same med Emily was on).
